EVO 5 Motorcycle Data Logger Features Significant Improvements – The Two multi-channel Motorsports connectors: simple and straightforward, one top quality harness for ALL your connections. A 37 pins connector for main applications (power, CAN, Aim CAN network, etc. ) and a 22 pins connector for additional functions like CAN2, digital outputs.
The Internal SD Card
Permits to record all possible data you may ever need. The card is protected by a waterproof door equipped with a sensor closing all files when you open it, to prevent any data loss possibility. No way to have a faster data downloading: you remove the SD and it is done.
An extra CAN connection has been added in case you wish to get data from other CAN modules you may have installed in your car, i.e. ABS modules, CAN sensors, etc.
Aim EVO 5 Datalogger Connections
The ECU connection features all the possible hardware compatibilities (CAN, RS232 or K-line) in order to guarantee the possibility to receive a huge amount of data from virtually all available ECUs, both in motorsports and in stock installations. Of course, the unit is completely configurable, in order to offer the maximum flexibility.
GPS08 – The Most Precise and Reliable GPS ever!
The GPS05 Module (included in the kit) connected via CAN to the EVO5 makes lap time calculation and track position analysis very easy. Each EVO5 memory stores more than 200 world tracks start/finish line coordinates: as soon as EVO5 is switched on, the GPS05 Module will locate its position, identify track-line coordinates and start immediately sampling lap and split time.
If the track is not included in the database, it is always possible to add the start/finish line coordinates to the EVO5 via PC before going to the track, using the Race Studio 3 software.
Many sensors can be connected to EVO5
8 analog channels with configurable 12 bit 0-5 Volt, 0-500 mV, 0-50 mV inputs or thermocouple input, used to sample data coming from temperature, pressure, suspension and other kinds of sensors.
4 speed inputs, which allow to monitor the different wheels behavior.
1 RPM input, which manages square wave signals transmitted by the ECU, or pulse signals picked from the coil command (low voltage).
1 built-in inertial platform: an integrated three-axial accelerometer and gyro sensor let you have the most powerful system to understand oversteering, understeering, banking, etc
Configure the system and download your data over a secure 802.11 WiFi connection, even if your Motorcycle is 100 meters far from you.

The powerful GPS08 Module connects via CAN to your datalogger and makes track position analysis possible, together with a precise lap time calculation. The new GPS Manager software will transmit your tracklist to the logger: GPS05 Module will locate its position, identify track-line coordinates and start immediately sampling lap and split times.
